BUGGAY BARN CONVERSION **COM25-00221**: This application is for a retroactive permit to legalize prior interior alterations to an existing detached accessory structure (barn) at 18 Bridlewood Circle. The structure was originally permitted and constructed as an unconditioned accessory barn. Following a change in ownership, the interior was converted to conditioned space without permits. No expansion of the building footprint or primary structural system occurred. Scope includes previously completed work: conversion to conditioned space; installation of interior finishes; addition of insulation within existing wall and roof framing; installation of plumbing fixtures including a bathroom and accessory sink (no kitchen); cabinetry; fireplace; new skylights; and new exterior doors installed within existing or minimally modified openings. The structure does not contain a kitchen and is not intended to function as an ADU, DADU, or dwelling unit. It will remain an accessory structure used for recreation, exercise, and similar purposes. No changes to building footprint, height, or overall massing are proposed.
