Converting existing building from office space to four small apartment units on two floors above a basement. The conversion to multi-family will require a small amount of demolition and new construction. Each unit will have a full bathroom, small kitchen and a bedroom off of a common entry way served by a central stairway. The pre-submittal comments came back with a requirement for the entire building to be fire sprinklered, and parking in the alley to be re-configured to allow 4 stalls to be laid out perpendicular to the building’s east side. We have shown the parking as directed and the building will have an NFPA 13 R fire sprinklerer system installed during construction. Seperate permits required for plumbing and mechanical.
