The project involves site improvements to the QFC parking lot, including removing the existing curb along the west side near the building to widen the drive lane, removing three maple trees, parking expansion and installing new traffic curb with interior concrete strips. An existing driveway will be closed, replaced with new parking stalls and a landscape strip, and the driveway within the public right-of-way will be replaced with a concrete sidewalk. The work includes excavation and grading for parking and landscape areas, as well as concrete placement for the sidewalk. An existing storm drainage pipe lies within the limits of disturbance, but no utility relocations are planned, and all utilities will be maintained in place following standard construction practices.
