DECK, The project consists of demolition of existing deck structures and construction of new attached, multi-level exterior decks for an existing single-family residence. Proposed work includes new wood-framed deck systems with pressure-treated structural members, composite decking, guardrails, and stairs, supported on new concrete footings. Decks are designed in accordance with the 2021 IRC and applicable Washington State and City of Edmonds codes. The scope is limited to exterior deck improvements only. No changes to building footprint, occupancy classification, or use are proposed.
