OAK VISTA MULTIFAMILY DEVELOPMENT The Community Development Department received applications for the SEPA Environmental Checklist, Administrative Use Permit, and Multi-Family Architectural & Site Design Review for the Oak Vista Project, a multi-phased multi-family and senior housing project to be located on the campus of the Auburn Adventist Academy. The approximately 24.3-acre site is located north of and adjacent to Auburn Way South between 32nd St SE and Academy Dr SE within the southeast portion of the City. The project proposes the construction of 224 multi-family units (Phase I) by the end of 2023; the construction of 264 multi-family units by the end of 2025; and the construction of a senior living and memory care facility comprised of 84 assisted living units and 80 independent living units by the end of 2027.
OAK VISTA DEVELOPMENT: BUILDING HEIGHT VARIANCE The proposal consists of 480 multi-family housing units and a senior community building that is expected to include up to 224 units: 60 beds for memory care, 84 assisted living units, and 80 independent senior living units. The multi-family portion of the project would provide 834 parking stalls, 424 stalls in Phase 1, and 410 stalls in Phase 2. The Senior Community portion would provide approximately 145 parking stalls during Phase 3.
