Given that the 3/8” bar is significantly stronger than the various wood / nail portions of the wall tie, it is unlikely that bending and straightening the bar would weaken the steel to a point where it would govern the connection strength. **FRR26-0168 (09.01.26): C3 form calculation passes with R-21 in exterior wall space and without needing R-5.**
