This project includes the construction of a new trickling filter structure, mechanical equipment upgrades, expansion of the disinfection contact basin, and various site improvements at the North End Treatment Plant (NETP). The ROW improvements will be excluded from the scope of this project and constructed under a separate contract; however, the related design documents were still included in the consultant's 90% submittal package. All stormwater within the site is collected and conveyed to headworks where it joins wastewater flows and is treated by the plant, which results in zero pollution generating impervious surfaces. The mechanical and plumbing valuations are integrated into the attached cost estimate and difficult to isolate, so zero was entered instead.
