John McFarland owns approximately 730,000 sf of undeveloped property on the NW side of Beacon Hill that was once the site of clay mining activity that helped build Pioneer Square in the early 20th century. The entire property is entitled to build as many as 141 single-family residencies per zoning density. Instead, we are proposing 18 SF houses on the NE corner of the site bounded by S Bradford on the South, S Spokane on the North, Hanh Place S on the East, and 12 Ave S on the West.

We would like to develop the property to eventually building residential single-family residences. The proposal is to subdivide the current property into 6 lots as shown in the site plan. The property which was once a clay mining activity has a topography that may require an ECA exemption on some of the proposed lots. This permit is to start the process with the goal of construction permits.Related Permit #003228-21PA
